I am by no means a successful at it myself. I do a lot of films for free, mostly for film students. One recently went to a festival AND THEY SAID THEY LOVED THE MUSIC! The director/producer said he got a lot of kudos for the way the music sounded in the theater as well. I do my own mastering. The important thing is, they see my name when the credits roll. Making connections is one of the most important things in this business.

Re: Creative Resources and Tips for Aspiring Songwriters

The most important thing is to get your work out there. Somebody has to be listening. Of course there is YouTube now, but there are other ways as well. Live performance is always great and then there are online competitions like Make A star, where you upload your video and the viewers vote on it.

Re: Top 10 Reasons Artists Don’t Register with SoundExchange (and 10 reasons you should)

That's great, but it doesn't explain why I can't get anyone at sound exchange to return my emails or how I've wasted 5 years trying to get the money that is owed to my band. Sound exchange is a monopoly and the service absolutely sucks.

Re: consFEARacy – In Your Face!

hey :) cheers from Poland, thanks for sharing this!
consFEARacy
